About Me
Hello! My name is Jade Raad, and I will be your first grader’s teacher this year! I am excited to teach, work with, and learn from your children. I believe that every child has great potential, and it is my calling, as a teacher, to help unlock this potential, learn from my students, and guide them through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised on Long Island, NY. I went to school in Dayton, OH and recently moved to Jackson, MI. My family is a major part of my life and who I am, especially in my faith life. I greatly value every moment spent with my family! I also love traveling and spending time outside!
I attended a Catholic school from kindergarten through college. This experience really helped to form the foundations of my Catholic faith and contributed to my desire to teach at a Catholic school. I hope to contribute to forming the foundations of your child’s faith as well! I have recently received my degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Dayton, in Ohio, where I am continuing my studies to eventually receive my masters in Special Education.
I feel so blessed to be part of the St. Mary Star of the Sea family! I know that, with your support, we will have a wonderful first grade year!
God Bless!
